Dopamine detox is the WORST way to rapidly improve yourself
Here's an easier and guaranteed step anybody can start instead
Picture this…
You get on a strict diet, increase semen retention, cut off social media, and get into “monk mode.”
You’re really excited to start the 30-day challenge.
You already imagine yourself being better in every aspect.
The first two weeks went pretty well… There are some ups and downs, but that’s normal.
You get some benefits, and even your surroundings make a judgment on it.
Which means that it works!
But guess what’s going to happen in the last 2 weeks?
You’ll start getting those urges back!
Hesitate about eating that pizza you missed last weekend.
You swore you wouldn’t even think about it.
You reinstall social media to talk to your “friends”
P.S. We know they aren’t your friends.
Despite being aware of meditation’s benefits,..
You’re less concentrated on your inhaling and the quality of your thoughts.
This morning you saw a pretty attractive girl walking, and since you came back home… All you think about is lock that door and go to the hub.
The days feel longer and harder, all you think of is to be done with this stupid challenge.
Waiting for day 30 because it is too hard…
In fact, I doubt most people would even last 20 days on dopamine detox.
At the end… comes that stupid excuse we all know.“Mmmh. Next time I’ll do the challenge better”
Pov: me slapping this person with 145% of my power
Do you see the blunder, my friend?
I don’t want you to think like most people
It’s not a challenge where we count days.
If you’re willing to do good habits, it has to be long-term.
I would simply think of what my ideal self would do.
Going through pain your future self won’t indulge in is USELESS!
The ONLY way to fix that is to journal about it and understand the “How”.
It is way easier to change your conditions than to change yourself.
This particular perception of life will rapidly make hard habits second nature.
And the most important part is that you’ll receive a huge reward as it will compound.
You’re the one creating your identity… Your perception of “habits” is crucial for your growth.
If you don’t change your mindset on that topic, I believe you’ll just relapse again and again.
Real shit but self control is hard u just can't get it right first couple of times it takes time but do time more practice u get better human nature is a mf lol
